well Derby didn't say yes but didn't really say no yesterday, they effectively told EFC to lodge another bid. EFC are considering the response and the probability is they will submit a final offer later today. The offer on the table yesterday was worth £3.85m (£3.5m +10% on appearances). The revised offer is likely to be in the region of £4.25m. Last night I said 60:40 Poom would stay a Derby player, this morning based on what I've been told was the nature of the discussion with EFC last night I believe it to now be 60:40 he will become an Everton player though that obviously implies it is far from cut and dried so you still have reasons to hope. John Gregory is the main stumbling block as his total desire to keep Poom is certainly putting your Board in a tough position - they need the money but need to take account of the manager as well.
