täna siis võõrsil Plymouth Argyle. Kahjuks peab jällegi piirduma vaid raadionuppude keeramisega.:kurb10:

Birmingham striker Stern John must decide between Coventry and Leeds after both agreed a fee to sign him, says The Sun. The Trinidad & Tobago man has attracted bids of £250,000 from both clubs and he must now decide whether to stay in the Midlands or move to a bigger club.

Konkureeriksite eeldatavasti Palarse\'i selle hooaja madalaima punktisummaga vms. IMO
Leedsi ühest foorumist.
Did anyone else on here go to the discussion night put on by Meanwood cricket club up in Meanwood last night? It was a top night hosted by that fat manc, Bradders biggrin.gif and Paul Dews from the YEP.
The guest were Steve Kirby (Yorkshire cricket) Richie Mathers (Leeds Rhino\'s) and Kevin Blackwell (needs no description). Blackwell was his usual down to earth self and I can not speak highly enough about the bloke. His comments on Ricketts & Doobs were spot on.
Liked the comment on someone from Plymouth ringing him up yesterday to tell him that 3 of their players were in hospital with injuries from the match ohmy.gif , in his words \"it brought music to my ears\".
Vastus:
Ricketts - He came as part of the Viduka deal. Viduka would not have gone if we didn\'t take Ricketts. The talent and ability is there but the desire is lacking. Quote from Blackwell \"He was so overweight when he came from smogland that his arse came down in a truck\".
Doobs - You can only offload someone when there is intrest in him. Didn\'t let him go to Wolves as He didn\'t want to pay circ £20K of his wages for him to score the winning goal at their place and make Blackwell look like a tit.
We are still paying the wages of 18 ex players/staff on the present wage bill (14 players and 4 ex managers. He only has a budget of £1.7 million to spend on players wages this season.
Tried to find out who the striker he is after is, but he wouldn\'t tell during the discussions. The talk after he had gone at 10.15pm was that he is after Brett Ormerod (currently at Southampton) and that it is pretty much a tied deal.
Nagu juba mujal teemas mainitud - Brett Ormerod kuuks ajaks Leedsi...
Clinton Morrison anybody? Leeds?
nagu teada, peaks reedel avanema harukordne võimalus televiisori vahendusel lufc vs safc\'i vaadata. seda oleks mõistlik teha vastaspoolega koos, siis nimelt oleks keda mõnitada. samuti õnnestuks sel moel vältida juba tavapäraseks muutunud imalalt sõbralikku õhkkonda.
laupa õhtal praalis üks pisut vindine leedsi toetaja, et võib meie tarvis pool hiiu pubi kinni panna kutsed laiali saata. annan talle nüüd võimaluse siin foorumis oma sõnade taga seista.

S..t lugu on see, et samal ajal esineb seal miski bänd nimega CO3 (appiiii...), et siis väiksem saal osa on vuti päralt (taustaks ilmselt muusika, mille kõrval Nykanen kõlab Sinu lemmikbändina). Uurime asja....

Reedeseks kohtumispaigaks jääb ilmselt Molly Malone tagasaal
Martin, ega Sa ei viitsiks neid mängijate hindamisi enam üles panna?

Et siis Swindoni vastu:
Sullivan: 7 - did nowt wrong.
Kelly: 6 - average. too prone to hoofing. some reasonable attacking input in the last 5 minutes
Carlisle: 4 - Possibly his worst match for Leeds so far, several (unpunished) mistakes but most ignored by the crowd. Have to note that there would be 5 anti-Duberry threads by now.
Butler: 6 - Solid enough but there were a few dodgy balls (could\'ve been the wind) and didn\'t seem vocal enough for my liking. There was a new midfield pairing so we needed some leadership from the back.
Kilgallon: 6 - he\'s a good defender but not a left back. He can tackle, and he\'s quick, but his distribution is sadly lacking. There was one great charge through the center from him though when all around were disinterested.
Joachim: 5 - Fairly anonymous.
Gregan: 5 - Clearly not match fit, unable to run. Hope to see more from him in coming weeks.
Spring: 6 - Disappointing. Hoped to see more from this lad but he didn\'t produce much. Could have been his immobile central midfield partner but he didn\'t do enough to worry Jermaine Wright for me.
Pugh: 6 - Didn\'t do anything wrong but wasn\'t really in the game either. Was involved in what few attacking moves we had though.
McMaster: 6 - Lots of energy and enthusiasm but is very slow and much too weak. He can\'t outpace defenders and he\'s too easily shoved off the ball.
Ricketts: 4 - I missed his goal but what I saw wasn\'t pretty. Slow, lethargic and more of an obstacle to us scoring than an aid. Very poor first touch. Maybe he doesn\'t like the persistent high balls but on what I saw, he barely deserves a 4.
Subs:
Walton: 6 - got stuck in but the quality isn\'t there yet.
Deane: 5 - Did more than Ricketts (goal excepted).
Cadamarteri: 7 - Very impressed. Lively, strong, quick, enthusiastic. And a fantastically late challenge which nearly put on the Swindon lads over the East Stand. Joachim should be worried.
Overall: Very poor entertainment.
Sullivan - 8 - Had little to do, did little wrong but kept yet another clean sheet a quality siugning who still hasn\'t been beaten from open play at home this season...
Kelly - 6 - Good delivery to set Ricketts away for the goal but other than that was quiet, seemed to pull out of tackles and wasn\'t chasing a couple of balls that IMO he should easily have been on to.
Carlisle - 5 - His most rocky game for us so far, made a few errors that could have cost goals and was out of position on a couple of ocassions - still better than Duberry.
Butler - 7 - Another excellent signing, marshalled the defence well, cleared up behind Carlisle like all good Centre-halves should and was seen delivering a right bollocking to Matthew Spring for losing posession in Midfield.
Kilgallon - 7 - Thought he looked very strong and he deserves a place, however I think Crainey has been very, very good for us so far and a better left back but Killa is easily 3rd choice centre back fighting for second with Clarke Carlisle.
Joachim - 5 - He puts in the hard yards, a lot of effort and running but with no end product and nothing to show for it.
Spring - 5 - Besides some decent attempts on goal and a quality bit of ball juggling prior to one of them he was absent in the centre of midfield and I almost wanted Jermaine Wright to be on the park again.
Gregan - 5 - Will we ever have a centre midfield again? All of our options seem poor, in Greegan\'s case he\'s unfit. It\'s clear to see that he should be a battling midfield player but he can\'t get to players to put a tackle in in time so either concedes a free kick or lets them through and his distribution was nothing to write home about either.
Pugh - 6 - No goal tonight and not much service down the left, did nothing in particular wrong but thtn didn\'t do a lot at all. I\'ll forgive him though after Crewe [Wink]
Ricketts - 5 - Looks a bit fitter but not fit enough, turns like a tank but at least he scored last night which is what he is paid to do, even then though he could have missed it but a glimpse of the old Ricketts when he chased onto Kelly\'s ball. A 4 without the winner.
McMaster - 6 - Frustrated by lack of service (Why can\'t he play centre midfield??) but was full of running and when he gets the ball he\'s dangerous, but largely ineffective up-front I think.
Subs
Deane - 6 - Holds up a ball well and is VERY fit for his age but he has no power/accuracy in his shooting and cannot distribute to save his life. Played better than Ricketts did.
Walton - 6 - Again a lot of energy and enthusiasm but nothing to show for it, if he could convert his 30 yard sprints into a clean challenge and a killer pass he\'d be awesome!
Cadamateri - 7 - Very fit, very eager and he should be playing up front next game. I have no idea what he\'d be like in front of goal but I think Cadamateri and Joachim would at least give us a pacy forward line (Although I don\'t think KB will play without a big man)
As a result I\'d be interested to see this team play a few games together...
Sullivan
Richardson Butler Kilgallon Crainey
Wright (fit)Gregan McMaster Pugh
Cadamateri Joachim
Subs:
Carson
Kelly
Carlisle
Spring
Deane
I think that\'s the way to go having seen all the games so far this season.
Since SqB\'s been down we\'ve had a few games and I\'d like to say I\'ve been very impressed with Crainey (especially against Coventry and Plymouth) - I think he will turn out to be a fantastic piece of business.
Other ratings
Ref - 6- fair enough, let play flow ok but he looked about 60!!
Crowd - 3 - Where the fuck is everyone? It was a cheap night as well!! I travelled alone from Preston and back and had to sit in Scumchester waiting for a train abck until 2 in the morning. Come back! It\'s still as good a laugh as ever (if not more so)
Scoreboard - 5 - Back on now but more interested in Natasha Bedingfield\'s latest single than match stats [Mad]
The guy who arranges the music over the tannoy - 0 - Get him sacked! We came out to some terible piano piece it was so lame I hid my head in shame and then the ultimate insult we played some (smoggie style) music after the goal, they can get rid of that straight away.
Stewards - 1 - The sit-down parade were out in force again [Roll Eyes]
Tony Yeboah - 8 - I though he received the chants really well.
And to the guy behind me in N3 (are you on squareball?) Thank you for making me laugh my arse off all game, he was reading out a stewards badge number (S351) and second guessing what he was about to do but telling him to do it as iff over the radio beforehand and then thanking him (You probably had to be there)
The Chants - 7 - \"Tony, Tony Yeboah, Tony Yeboah, Tony Yebo - o - ah!\" - \"You\'ll Never Sit Us Down! You\'ll Never Sit Us Down! But Are you gonna believe us, but are you gonna believes us..\" Waccoe (a poor attempt in comparison with Plymouth)
Overall - 3rd Round here we come! Woohoo - another cold night, somewhere anyehre! Preston away would do me nicely [Wink]
