Estonia 2-0 Andorra: Amazing Allas (jube hea pealkiri )

TALLINN, June 7 (Reuters) - Defender Teet Allas scored a spectacular goal from the halfway line as Estonia beat tiny Andorra 2-0 in their Euro 2004 Group Eight qualifier on Saturday.

Estonia climbed to second in the group on eight points after five matches, three points behind leaders Bulgaria who were held 2-2 by Belgium in Sofia.

Allas opened the scoring in spectacular fashion in the 23rd minute, booting back a goal kick from around the halfway line over a shocked Jesus Luis Alvarez in the Andorran goal, who just failed to get a hand on the ball.

Midfielder Kristen Viikmae followed up 10 minutes later to give the hosts a 2-0 lead when he finally got the ball over the line after an Estonian corner resulted in a scrum inside the Andorran box.

Andorra mustered a brave fight-back at the beginning of the second half to create several scary moments for Estonian keeper Mart Poom, but the home side soon regained control despite failing to capitalise on a series of clear chances.
