kes ei tea . mis värk on siis nati inglise keelset infi nende kohta
    ------------
    GEORGE GRAHAM
Linked with numerous coaching jobs since leaving Tottenham last March, the canny Scot has been carefully watching the managerial merry-go-round waiting for his moment to leap back on. He never recaptured his Arsenal success during spells at Leeds and Spurs but is still highly-respected. Having to operate on a tight budget with Ellis looming over him in the background may not appeal
    -----------
    ALAN McINALLY
The former Villa favourite and Scottish international, who now works as a football pundit for Sky Sports, admitted the job would be a tempter: "I would love to be with Villa. I have done all my coaching badges, at some point I would like to go to back to Villa, although I am very happy with Sky. They have treated me great over the last four years and I am not looking to leave. Of course you do become attached to some clubs during your career and Villa is one of them, and I would go back, but as I said I am very happy with what I am doing."
    ----------
    LOUIS VAN GAAL
The former Holland boss was reported to have been lined up as manager at Villa less than two weeks ago, prompting Ellis to issue a statement saying he had never spoken to the Dutchman. Van Gaal's name is certain to be thrown into the ring again. He has huge experience at big clubs, like Barcelona and Ajax, but it is debatable whether Villa Park would hold the same allure as the Nou Camp did, especially as he has declared in an interest in the Manchester United job.
    ----------
    DAVID PLATT
Spent three-and-a-half years at Villa in the late '80s and early '90s, which coincided with his rise to international stardom during England's run to the semi-finals of Italia '90. Moved to Serie A club Bari for big money and then had spells with Juventus and Sampdoria before returning to England with Arsenal. Fondly remembered by fans for his playing contribution, though a largely unsuccessful initial spell in management with Nottingham Forest means he may be viewed as a gamble.
    ---------
    RAY GRAYDON
Sacked by Walsall only this week. Is held in high-esteem by his fellow Division One managers and has a reputation for being one of the most tactically astute of his peers. Graydon also managed to lift Walsall out of the second division with very little in the way of financial outlay. Ellis, in going for the cheaper option, would be taking a huge gamble on a manager who has never plied his trade in the top flight.
    -----------
    HARRY REDKNAPP
Left West Ham in May after more than seven years at Upton Park, where he was admired for the style of open, attractive play which Villa fans would relish. Redknapp's canny knack of spotting a bargain - he snapped up Paolo di Canio from Sheffield Wednesday for just £1.75m when no other club would touch him with a barge-pole - will no doubt endear him to Ellis, though an inability to put any silverware in the Hammers' trophy cabinet may work against him.
    ----------------
    BRYAN ROBSON
Backed at Middlesbrough by supportive chairman Steve Gibson who was prepared to spend money to buy big-name players on big wages. Robson took Boro into the Premiership in 1995 and, in 1997, steered them to FA Cup and Worthington Cup finals. But Boro lost both and were relegated and, although Robson steered them back to the Premiership, he could not establish them as a force there.
    ------------------
    JOE ROYLE
Worked wonders for over a decade at Oldham, leading the club from the old Second Division to the Premiership as well as the 1990 League Cup final and two FA Cup semi-finals, before winning the FA Cup with Everton in 1995. Arrived at Manchester City too late to save the Maine Road outfit from relegation to Division Two for the first time in its history in 1998, but engineered a turnaround in fortunes which brought back-to-back promotions. City were relegated in their first term back to the top flight though and in the close season Royle got the axe
    -------------------
    BRUCE RIOCH
His career has been on the wane since peaking at Bolton and Arsenal. Unspectacular spells at Norwich and Wigan followed and his time has probably passed in terms of taking a big club back to the top.
    ---------------------
    PAUL MERSON
Outspoken captain at Villa Park has previously stated a desire to coach when the time was right and his playing career was over. This opportunity has maybe come too soon for him to offer his services, especially with no background in managerial matters.

GEORGE GRAHAM has thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant Aston Villa manager's position.
Graham has been installed as the bookies' favourite to replace John Gregory, who quit the Midlands' hot seat on Thursday.

Former Arsenal and Leeds chief Graham has been out of football since he was sacked by Spurs last season.

Now his agent insists that Graham is very keen in assuming the Villa Park helm, although he will not be posting a formal application to chairman Doug Ellis.

"George won't be applying for the job because his managerial record speaks for itself," Steve Kutner told the News of the World.

"But in view of Villa's stature as a club and George's historical links to it, he would obviously be very interested if they want to talk to him."

Since being axed at White Hart Lane, Graham is believed to have spurned the opportunity to take over at Rangers, West Ham United and Leicester City, as he waits for the right route back into management.

It is unclear whether Graham would be a popular choice to succeed Gregory, and should the Villa board plump for a younger alternative, Charlton Athletic boss Alan Curbishley is among the leading contenders.

Aga ma kuulsin, et tal on leping oma klubiga (Rapid?) 2003. aastani ja ta ei kavatse seda varem l6petada. Pealegi on see klubi niiv6inaa kuskil tagapool liigatabelis.

Võib-olla just sellest taoline valik.
