- I'd rather travel with Sarpsborg 08 to Spain than home to Tallinn. I think it's nice to be in this club. Many good football players are here. I understand well that Joonas Tamm enjoyed his time here.
- You spoke to Joonas before you came on trial?
- We know each other very well. I followed closely with what happened to him during last year's season. It was a dream for him to participate in the Europa League adventure."
- You’re aware there will be no Europa League action in the coming season?
- I know that, but it is in the coming season that they lay the foundation for being there in 2020. I had such a good time here and really want to be a part of it.
Madis wasn't particularly bothered by the cold.
- It is colder at home in Tallinn than it has been in Sarpsborg and Gothenburg. It doesn't matter to me. For me, it was a little unfamiliar right away because all around me there are new players. There is a difference between training with them and playing matches. Still, I thought the collaboration with Nicolai (Næss, the other centre back) went well. Now it's up to Sarpsborg 08 if I will stay or not.
- Are you nervous/excited?
- It's clear that I am, because I would like to stay here
