Mul oli eile omamoodi huvitav kogemus. Nimelt viskasin netti müüki ühe vana telefoni, mis kapiservale vedelema on jäänud.

Mingil hetkel sain yandex.com aadressilt ingliskeelse meili, kus uuriti veidi telefoni vanuse kohta ja küsiti madalaimat hinda, mille eest olen nõus telefonist loobuma.

Kuna tundus kergelt kahtlane, ei hakanud järgi andma ning kirjutasin, et müün kuulutuses toodud summaga. Õige pea saabus vastus, et no problem, maksab selle. Ja lisaks veel postikulud, sest tegelt olla ostja üldse Hiinast ja tal olla kolleeg Nigeerias, kellele seda (roosat!) telefoni hirmasti oleks vaja saata. Takkatippu visati veel ka Omniva hinnakirja link koos täpse viitega, mitmendalt leheküljelt leiaksin Nigeeriasse saatmise postikulu, mille ma siis mingil põhjusel pidin järgmises vastuses talle välja kirjutama.

Kuna asi oli juba üsna selge, siis järgmises meilis panin kirja, et ootan summat x enda kontole ja paki panen teele niipea kui kogu summa kohal. Siiski-siiski tegi ta kaaluka vastuettepaneku, et temal pank tuleb meile vahendajaks. Tema tegevat ülekande panka, mis mind siis teavitab, et raha on turvaliselt nende käes, ja see raha jõuab minuni "hetkega" niipea, kui olen paki ära saatnud ja "pangale" saatmiskviitungi edastanud.

Minu viimasele kirjale, milles juhtisin tähelepanu, et nii labase scammiga vist kaugele ei sõua ja, kui tahab, on ta endiselt teretulnud minu kontole raha kandma, ei ole paraku vastust enam tulnud.

See-eest sain täna aga SMS-i, kus järgmine härra on "very interested to discuss the sale". Lootusrikas.

Okidokis vist ei saa midagi müüa enam normaalselt. Müün vanemat Goprod ja üks tšikk võttis ühendust inglise keeles, et soovib osta. Andsin oma konto nr ja värgid. Öösel sain mingi fabritseeritud e-mailid, et "Paypal" on raha kätte saanud ja ootab nüüd ostja confirmi kauba kohalejõudmisest. Kirjas on käik Paypali logod peal, aga on kasutatud multi värvi teksti ja lähte e-mail on muidugi mingi täiesti suvakas. Ma kujutan, et suur osa eestlasi ei hammustaks seda jama läbi ja saadaksi asja teele.

Viskasin Googlisse ka tšiki e-maili aadressi ja uudis sellisest scämmist Eestis on kuu aega vana juba.
