Freed by the silence of lamb
A MAN who had sex with a sheep was freed by cops — because the animal couldn’t give evidence.
Dutchman Bert Meijer, 36, was caught in the act.
Farmer Christiaan de Jong, who owns the sheep, said: “I saw a man standing among my flock. He had his pants down and was holding a sheep from behind.
“I immediately called the police.”
But under Dutch law bestiality is not a crime.
Meijer, of Haasksbergen near Utrecht, was let go by cops because the only way to get a prosecution would be to prove the sheep suffered emotional distress.
Mr de Jong said: “I know my sheep and can tell that the animal was traumatised.” The sheep refused to comment.
