Lõuna-Ameerika tuurilt jäävad kõrvale Salvio, Costa, Mérida, Juanfran, Joel ja Pedro. Juanfran pole lihtsalt veel piisavalt vormis, et mängida, kuid teiste puhul (võibolla v.a Pedro, kes võib lihtsalt Atlético B treeningutega ühineda) on kuri kahtlus, et nad varsti lahkumas on. Kõige kahtlasem on muidugi Salvio minek Benficasse, mis viimastel päevadel kõvaks jututeemaks olnud ja näib üsna tõsine olevat.

Olgugi et hooaja alguses olin valmis ta kinnisilmi maha müüma, siis nüüd..kuidagi hõredaks jääb ründavate mängijate arv ees. Loodetavasti tuuakse siis vähemalt korralik(ud) asendus(ed), kui Toto peaks tõesti lähipäevil lahkuma.

Kahjuks tundub, et Salvio on meie seast lahkumas. Väidetavalt siis 11 miljoni euro eest Benficasse.

Üha enam hakkab tunduma, et kui rohkem täiendusi ei tehta, siis näeme järgmisel hooajal Koket, Oliver Torrest, Sauli, Manquillot, Borjat ja Kaderi päris palju minuteid saamas. Tundub, et Cholo neisse usub ja terve preseasoni ja Lõuna-Ameerika tuuri teevad noored Cantera kutid kaasa. Võibolla kõik peale Torrese ja Koke mängivad küll esialgu B koosseisus, aga neid saab vajadusel sealt kutsuda. Peaasi, et kutid mängida saavad.

Noorus on ennegi läbimurdeid teinud ja meeskond hillgava hooaja mänginud. Aga kas see ka Barca - Reali superraha liigas võimalik on ?

Ma usun, et segu noorusest ja kogemusest on edu võti. Vaikselt viisi lihtsalt peaks hakkama harjutama noori karika- ja liigamatšides. Kuskil peab olema noortel väljund oma potentsiaali kasutamiseks ja proovilepanekuks. Hetke kehva finantsolukorda arvesse võttes oleks lihtsalt igati sobiv ja loogiline käik oma kasvandikke kõrgemal tasemel kasutama hakata, seda enam kui raha uute täienduste jaoks ei ole.

Need siis veel sealse kohaliku aja järgi. Cerezo claims it is incomprehensible that the league body implemented such kick-off times off their own back.

He told Marca: "It doesn't seem to me that the LFP drew out these kick-off times. If this schedule has been decided by the LFP then they all need to go, from the president right down to the bottom of the league."

Cerezo is particularly concerned with the programme for the following Monday night, which is due to see Atletico host Athletic Bilbao - just four days before they face Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup on August 31.

"Above all there is a very important thing," he said. "We are going to play on the 31st in the Super Cup and on the Monday before they have put us down to play at 10pm.

"The next day we travel to Monaco and have only two days to recover. Meanwhile, Chelsea play the Saturday before and have a full week.

"We will do everything possible to not play Athletic at 10pm on the Monday. It isn't just Atletico Madrid. More than half of the league has had enough of these schedules."

Lühidalt öeldes on see jätk juba varasemalt asetleidnud saagale Mediapro ja Canal+ vahel. Mõni aeg tagasi andsid üheksa klubi (Atlético, Celta, Espanyol, Getafe, Osasuna, Real Sociedad, Zaragoza, Athletic ja Betis) välja avalduse, kus kinnitasid, et nende teleõigused kuuluvad Canal+ omandusse ning mitte Mediaprole. Ilmselgelt areneb see värk veel edasi, kuid loodetavasti tuleb LFP siiski mõistusele ning, nagu Getafe president Angel Torres lootis, muudab praeguse jama ära.

Muide, eelmine nädal toimus ka kohtumine nö La Liga mässuliste (Sevilla, Atlético de Madrid, Valencia, Espanyol, Athletic de Bilbao, Betis, Osasuna, Real Sociedad, Zaragoza ja Celta), teiste klubide ja LFP vahel. Merida minekust on küll kahju. Ei saanud ta palju mänguaega ei QSF, Manzano ega ka Simeone ajal. Minu jaoks üsna müstika, sest nii harva kui ta platsile pääses, jättis üpris korraliku mulje. Salvio läks ka lõpuks ametlikult Benficasse - lahkus kenasti eesuksest, pea püsti, viisakalt. Benfica maksis väidetavalt 11 miljonit eurot tema eest, mis on täitsa korralik summa. Tõenäoliselt lööb Salvio seal väravavõrgud ribadeks ning lahkub varsti muidugi poole suurema summa eest..

Igatahes on Dominguez ja Salvio kahekesi toonud klubile kokku 19 miljonit eurot. Varsti võib ehk uusi liigutusi mängijateturul oodata.

Vahetusmehe ( Salvio ) eest saime päris korraliku kopika ju. 1-2 nime võibolla ehk tuuakse veel meeskonda, kuid üldiselt mingit väga raputavat diili ei näe kuskilt tulemas. Raul Garcia on hooajaeelsetes mängudes näidanud päris head taset, arvasin juba, et see mees on kõik öelnud/teinud juba Atleti eest aga näib, et Simeone on leidnud peidus olnud sära. Samas tegi mees ju eelmine hooaeg ka Osasuna eest üsnagi viisakaid esitusi.
Ja Oli Torresest niipalju, et temast kuuleb hispaania klubijalgpall juba see hooaeg veel nii mõndagi.

Tänase Wolfsburgi pressikonverentsi põhjal tundub, et Diego jääb ikkagi Saksamaale, kuigi nende kahe klubi puhul saab selles kindel olla alles siis, kui kõik aknad sulguvad. Muude võimalike tulijate osas on muidu hetkel suht vaikne, aga äkki jah üks-kaks üllatust siiski tuleb. Kui ei, siis vähemalt on noored (Kader, Saul, Oli, Borja) seni päris hea mulje meeste vahel jätnud ning võib loota küll neile. Säästumeeskond, pole midagi teha.

Ah jaa, draama Atlético ja LFP vahel kestab endiselt. LFP'lt pole mingeid selgitusi näinud kuskil, aga Atlético on hetkel tõsiselt ähvardamas boikotiga ning võimalik, et ka teisi klubisid liitub sellega:

"Astiazaran can´t keep his position, far from acting in the interests of Spanish football he is undermining it. He gets paid handsomely but he´s never around. They are a bunch of good-for-nothing muppets", commented Cerezo extremely angered by the situation.

Cerezo doesn´t stop there and is threatening to boycott the first game. He has so far avoided using the word strike, perhaps because of the social unrest that is currently gripping Spain, but says he will do whatever it takes. "It's scandalous. If this situation doesn´t change, Atlético will seriously consider not playing its first game".

"These kick-off times are insane, they will only damage football, but it seems that they don´t care. Nobody can go to the games at that time, there´s no metro, no buses. People have to get up the next day and can´t leave the stadium at 1 o’clock in the morning. It is unbelievable", Cerezo concluded.

"The president and vicepresident of La Liga have provoked and allowed an atmosphere of confrontation to fester, which has put us in an uncertain and precarious situation, putting the future of the clubs and Spanish football in general in danger. In the last two months they have allowed one of the two television operators to take half the clubs in the league to court, making it impossible for the clubs to reach an agreement."

The Atleti director also slammed the current model of TV revenue distribution, which sees Barcelona and Real Madrid gobble up the majority of money the league receives from selling screening rights. He said: "The majority of the clubs in the Primera División do not agree with the current model."

But Gil Marín didn't stop there, also criticising the way in which decisions are taken within the structure of La Liga.

"Decisions are made by the league's assembly, and it's not fair that the Primera Division, which is responsible for 95 per cent of the income of football in this country, has done a deal with Real Madrid, Barcelona and the Segunda División. Real Madrid and Barcelona, both in economic and sporting terms, benefit from this model. Mr Tebas (Javier Tebas, vice president of the LFP) also benefits from the system, as he represents all the teams in the Segunda Division and he represents the operator (MediaPro) which wants to maintain the monopoly it currently enjoys."

The fans of the red and whites are in open, loud, rebellion against the kick-off times handed down for Atlético's first three games of the league, which starts on 18 August. "We are highly critical of the League for scheduling ridiculous starting times, when we are the only Spanish team looking out for the country's interests in a European final. Having less time to prepare for the game against Chelsea makes us the laughing stock of Europe" the clubs said in a press release.

Atlético will play Athletic on Monday 27 August, with only four days to prepare for the Super Cup against Chelsea on Friday 31. They start the league on Sunday 19 at 11pm and play their next two games on Monday nights.

The fans are demanding the "resignation of Astiazaran and his team" and a change to the timetable, or "we are going to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs". "This is disdainful treatment, not only of the fans, but of football itself. What child will go to a football stadium at 11pm at night?" they demanded to know. The Spanish Association of Football Supporters clubs is also outraged at the kick-off times. "We are asking that they respect the fans. We are completely against games taking place at such ridiculous times."

The Managing Director of Espanyol, Joan Collet, declared that the Vice-President of the Spanish League, Javier Tebas, is "wrecking" football with the kick-off times, and lamented that he could be favouring Barcelona and Madrid.

"The League doesn't work, we're in the hands of Barça and Madrid and of Tebas - I don't know who he works for but he's wrecking football", said the Espanyol executive to Com Radio.

The Sevilla president José María Del Nido said on Friday that his club was working with other La Liga outfits to change the "dire and unfair" distribution of television revenues in the league.

"There's a group of clubs that are working towards a number of resolutions that will make the league more fair in terms of kick-off times and match days, with a view to resolving the dire and unfair distribution of television revenues," said Del Nido.

He said the same clubs were hoping to "create a fixture list that is as rational and equal as possible" and added "we are on the way to achieving one".

"The fixture list and kick-off times are not good for the league but it won't be long before things start to change. I hope the resolutions they adopt are for the common good."

A number of clubs expressed their outrage with the announcement of kick-off times for the opening weekend of the La Liga season, which sees three matches begin at 23:00 and means Atlético Madrid have just four days between their league game against Athletic Bilbao on Monday 27 August and their European Super Cup match against Chelsea on Friday 31 August.

Üldiselt kahju, et selline olukord üldse tekkis, aga loodetavasti on sel mingigi mõju liiga tulevikule ning asjad muutuvad veidi võrdsemaks. Lisaks Alvesile käivad spekulatsioonid ka Quaresma võimaliku liitumise ümber. Kunagi meeldis Quaresma mulle väga, aga tema ego ja probleemid treeneritega on kunagise sära hajutanud. Siiski otsib ta endiselt uut algust ning võimalik, et Cholo-sugune treener võiks tema ohjeldamisega hakkama saada. Bruno Alvesi koha pealt veel nii palju, et ta oleks kindlasti võimeline kaitses juhtohjad enda kätte haarama. Näiteks portugalikeelne kaitseliin Silvio-Miranda-Alves-Filipe võiks päris hästi toimida. Või noh vähemalt keskkaitsepaarina, sest arvatavasti Juanfran ikka paremkaitses.
