Villa Fans Combined will be organising a \"Show Doug The Red Card\" protest at the home game against Middlesbrough on Saturday.

We will be handing twenty thousand red cards prior to the game for Supporters to hold up to demonstrate that they have had enough of the mediocrity, underachievement and lack of backing given to the managers of the club over the past 22 years. Spending after sales amounts to between £4-6 million per season, not the £109million total that Mr Ellis claims.

Despite promises in the summer when Mr Ellis said \"we\'re not finished, I\'ll have the last laugh\" only for no further players to be bought - the fans aren\'t laughing Doug. We have seen an injury-hit small squad fail to be bolstered and fall away from the progress made last season. The £900,000 spent on Manchester Utd reserve Eric Djemba Djemba in January was clearly inadequate. VFC asks whether the problem lies in the area exposed upon former director Mark Ansell\'s resignation when fans were told that Ellis \"will retain sole control of dealings with the manager, agents and players and nobody within the game wants to deal with him.\"

Backed up by the views of past players - Dennis Mortimer has said \"all Ellis knows is how to cling on to his own job come what may\", while Tony Cascarino wrote that \"Ellis is a busybody, patronising and has a tendency to irritate managers and players, who end up leaving as a consequence.\"

VFC is calling for fans to get behind the team during the game, but prior to kick off to hold up their red cards to show they are desperate for Aston Villa to succeed and that we all see Ellis and success as incompatible. VFC wants Mr Ellis to actively seek new investment into the club and to recognise that after 22 years of underachievement he must go to allow the club to move forward.

Don your protective clothing, and have a bath as soon as you get home, folks, because this week we’re visiting the hovel on the hill. That’s right, it’s time again for us to say a friendly hello to those wretched, gypsy-fearing scumbags across the A38- Small Heath Alliance.

It’s 16 years since we beat these street bin bothering monsters, but applying the same thinking it’s 42 years since they beat us in any of the cups. Yes, we haven’t played them in the cup every year since then, but like I said, it’s the same sense of logic.

“5-0”, they cry in honour of their seemingly two-legged victory over us in their first season EVER in the Premiership. Again, same logic applied, we beat them 13-0 in the 88/9 season over three cup matches (for our younger readers, these stinking porn peddlers haven’t been in the top flight for very long and we only used to play them in the cups).

Speaking of cups, a quick glance to the trophy cabinet at Sty Andrews shows that… wait… call the police- they’ve all been nicked! No need to send for forensics, though. These deluded, inbred peasants haven’t had any need to fit an alarm on this particular room (that honour is reserved the vaults full of rhythm mags they keep under the shambles they call a stadium), let alone check it for fingerprints. Unfortunately, they’ve never won anything. They beat us every now and again, though, so that keeps them happy and stops them from roaming the streets battering pensioners.

So, how will you recognise the ‘noses on matchday. Well, they’ll be wearing those horrible blue rags for a start, and they’ll have hunched shoulders, elongated foreheads, and will be dripping in Elizabeth Duke “gold”. They’ll probably be clutching pay as you go mobile phones and quite possibly a cudgel of some sort, which they will attempt to hit you with if you get too near. Overall they look a bit like those fat things which used to live in the garden on FraggleRock. Only uglier, and with the accent and intellect which gives Birmingham a bad name.

No doubt they’ll turn us over again on Sunday, but don’t go thinking it’s because they’re better than us. The truth is that we have a long standing agreement with Birmingham City Council that if we give the scum 6 points per season, they’ll give us planning permission when we need to build a new stand at Villa Park (which is regularly host to over 35,000 people and has recently been the scene of countless cup semi-finals, England matches and even a European final). Small Heath, too, have been seeking planning permission, but they wouldn’t only be content with an enormous, quarter full identikit stadium. No, they want to add a casino, and most probably a pole dancing club too.

Speaking of indentikits, it can’t be long until their annoying Geordie gaffer leaves for pastures new. It’s the longest he’s ever been at a club as a manager, so if he doesn’t jump ship soon, it’s only a matter of time before he gets sent packing for spending all of Pornodwarf’s hard earned mucky money on rubbish players. The only hero they have had since the cloven hoofed Trevor Francis left for Nottingham Forest recently stated family reasons were behind his decision to move further away from his family and join Blackburn. Sad, really. But I think they’ll miss him more than we will.

There are countless other reasons why our neighbours should be held with contempt. Barry Fry, Steve Claridge, Noel Blake, Karren Brady, Paul Tit (sp?) and several other Blose legends form part of the good reason that they are a national joke

The laughably unemployable, illiterate scroungers who make up their support are misguided enough to think that we are jealous because they’ve got the name of the city. Well, I’m certainly not jealous. The name of Aston Villa is revered throughout Europe. I’m more upset than jealous. I don’t covet the name, I just wish, as a fiercely proud Brummie, that someone more deserving of the name had taken it. Since the dawn of time these knuckle draggers have sullied the name of my glorious city by rampaging through places like Blackpool battering civilians and smashing up shops. They call themselves Zulus, but there’s no sign of Michael Caine. Just gurning thugs with one thing in common- they’ve all got a pair of testicles wrapped in Andrex hanging around their neck.

The team being rubbish is unavoidable, and doesn’t really matter, but the neanderthals who follow them are more suited to carrying a dead animal than the name of the city. I don’t want this thing which they stole, I just wish they’d give it to Paget Rangers or someone who would at least do it justice.

So, in conclusion, why must we beat Small Heath Alliance? Well, quite simply, because it’s about time we did. These cretins have been attempting to lord it up over us ever since they just about scraped promotion. Well they’ve had their fun, and it’s time for the real monarchy to reclaim the throne.
