On loan winger Zoran Tošić has hailed his move as success having scored 5 goals in 13 appearances with FC Köln and has thanked Ferguson for allowing him to spend the second half of the season with the German side.
"I needed first team football before the World Cup in South Africa and I've had it. I hope to have a good tournament and have the chance repay Sir Alex with good performances in the first team".
Since his arrival at Manchester United from FK Partizan first team opportunities have been very limited with many deeming the Serbian wingers move a failure.
"When you arrive at such a big club you get nervous and sometimes that affects how you play. I am in no doubt that having played in the Bundesliga and in South Africa it will go along way in preparing me mentally and physically for the Premier League".
The Cologne based outfit are eager to retain his services for next season but manager Zvonimir Soldo admits it will be difficult.
"Zoran no doubt has improved our side and we would love to have him again next season but it will be hard to convince Manchester United to allow him to leave after such impressive performances. After the World Cup I will contact Sir Alex and see if this would be possible".
When asked if he would consider a permanent move away from Old Trafford Tošić he said that had never crossed his mind.
"For me Manchester United is the best club in the world and even if I play a small part in first team football I will be happy. Why anyone would consider moving bewilders me, I am still young and will continue to fight for a place even if it is on the substitutes bench".Kommentaar
