Kaitseliinis on tõsine kriis ning kui veel Kovac ka vigastada sai, siis ei olnud sinna enam kedagi toppida. Vigastused ei ole klubi sel hooajal hellitanud ja meeskonna esitused on pärast hiilgavat algust veidi ära vajunud.

Just pärast miinuspunktide vähendamist on lubatud endale palju komistusi ja vahe teiste klubidega on suht muutumatuna püsinud. Hooaeg on pikk ja ausalt öeldes kuluks juba jaanuaris mõni täiendus ära, sest nagu praegune kaitse olukord näitab, siis meeskond on täiesti haavatav.

Kuid eks tuleb aru saada, et majanduslik olukord on hetkel sitt ja ega suvelgi mingeid imekäike oodata ei ole. Tõenäoliselt lahkuvad mõned suured staarid nagu Buffon, Camoranesi või Trezeguet ning asemele tuuakse vähemnimekad tegelased.

Aga arvestades seda, et Saviola on Monacos DD käe all mitu hooaega mänginud ning CR on juba aastaid olnud Juventuse huviorbiidis (Juve jäi mehest napilt ilma, kui ManU ta täpselt nina alt ära tõmbas), siis võib isegi midagi sündima hakata.

difficult financially and that he doesn`t know if the player really wants
to return to Juve"

Alessio Secco was invited for a video-chat on La Gazzetta Dello Sport`s
website, where spoke on different subjects:

CRISCITO: Today we met Genoa because we want to buy Genoa`s half next
June. The intention is to get him here to be part of the squad and not to
be traded. On the otherhand MASIELLO could join Genoa now.

BARZAGLI & DEFENDERS : We are very interested in Barzagli just like we are
in other top defenders who could make the difference. We are also
monitoring the international market. One of the defenders we are following
is METZELDER.

MASCHERANO : We have followed him, he was offered to us both in summer and
now. He is an interesting player, but his case is a complicated one and
then he isn`t playing at West Ham.

SISSOKO : He is a very good young midfielder, but he is Benitez`s favourite
and I don`t think Liverpool will let him go.

SALIHAMIDZIC & OTHERS : He is 30 years old of an international level and
reminds me of Nedved. It is a good deal because he comes on a free
transfer. Then its obvious that apart from him we will get other players,
even more important.

GRYGERA : His transfer is not offivial. I think that Ajax need him till
June so that they can qualify for the Champions League. We didn`t start a
proper negotations for January, but we will evaluate the situation in the
coming days.

BUFFON: He is not on the transfer market, and I think he agrees on this
too, so he will stay here (PERSONAL NOTE: I assume he was refering to an
eventual transfer this January)

DEL PIERO : I spoke to Del Piero and we have a very good relationship and
there are no problems with him because he is our jewel.

CRISTIANO RONALDO : I think its improbable that Manchester United transfer
list him

GILARDINO : A good attacker but up front we already have several important
players

MICCOLI : Its not written that he won`t get another chance. We still
beleive in him and in fact last summer we extended his contract.

BOJINOV: I won`t say anything. There is still ample time to decide whether
to buy him or not

CASSANO : He is an absolute talent and one shouldn`t be afraid of his
character, but he has a wage at a level which for us at the moment would be
a luxury we can`t afford, and besides we beleive a lot on Del Piero and
Palladino (Personal note: Yes Alessio.... keep faith in my boy !!!)

NATALI : He is the only defender so far who we tried to get on loan this
January.

TREZEGUET : He is very important, but his contract expires in 2008, and we
are waiting for the right time to talk to him. Our intention is to keep him
here, but its something on which we bith have to agree, and we are
confident we can convince him to stay. We haven`t heard again from Lyon
since last summer when they asked for him.

RONALDO : its just media talk

RIBERY : a very good player, but Juve are not the only interested club.
There are others such as Real Madrid.

HUNTELAAR : an attacker with good potential, but Ajax want a lot of money
for him.

QUAGLIARELLA : Thsi year he is doing well and we are following him, but he
isn`t the only one.

EMERSON : He left a good impression with the fans. Its a pleasure to know
that he wants to come back.

STRATEGY : With the players we have in mind to strengthen the team, we
should be competitive at the highest levels as from the coming season. The
objective is to keep all our stars, get at least one other free-agent and
make THREE EXCELLENT BUYS.
