A new Hoeness interview: http://www.welt.de/data/2007/01/07/1168412.html
I'm gonna summarize the key points:
- the toughest task for us is to build a new team and to remain competitive at the same time. If Bayern finishes second it's already a disaster but when you look at clubs like Milan, Barca, Ajax or Juve, they all had these transition seasons in the past two decades.
- Magath's changed a lot in the past months. He now reguarly speaks with the players because it's necessary these days
- Magath's future doesn't depend on the Madrid games, the basis of the judgement is whether the young players are making any progress
- we've recently lost six important players. We managed to replace some of them and the final pieces will be added soon. We're close to complete the signing of the next player and are in good talks with a few others.
- Hargreaves is an important cornerstone of our future team. He definitely won't be sold in January, after that we'll have to look if he becomes dispensable
- he really wanted Schlaudraff, he hasn't worked that hard on a transfer for a long time
- the Ribery topic depends on Deisler's development. If Deisler stays healthy we don't need Ribery.
- we're gonna spend big bucks (his example is €40M on three players) if they're absolutely convinced they'd improve our team

Ahjaa: Mõlemad Madridi tegelinskid on ju seehooaeg CL -is juba pelanud, seega ma ei mõista miks neid jaanuaris maha müüa üritatakse? Sõõrikute arved läksid liiga suureks?
