Currently linking to pirated material is not illegal (at least at the moment, as there ara some cases going on, but some cases show that deep linking (whatever this exatly is, is illegal), but uploading is. Olgem ausad, lõppkokkuvõttes on autoriõigusluse kaasuste peamine küsimus raha.

Kui keegi teenib kellegi teise sisu loata esitlemisega raha (nagu ilmselt Angelo praegu teeb klikke kogudes), siis võib eeldada, et varem või hiljem tuleb sellest probleem. Argumendid nagu "keegi ei saa kahju", "Eesti jalgpall võidab" või "kuri koer kiusab" võite ära unustada.

Oletame, et ERR portaalis on sama klipp üleval ning nad koguvad samamoodi reklaamiraha ja keegi lihtsalt tuleb võtab luba küsimata materjali, kleebib oma viidad külge ja hakkab levitama. Hea küll, ERR vist sel moel ei talita, aga kui juhtumisi oleks selline seik juhtunud Postimehe ülekantavas mängus. Hakkab koitma?

Sama küsimus on minul ka ammu juba olnud. Miks eesti meediakanalid ei lae oma videosid juutuubi? Iga üks aretab mingit oma flashplayerit ja keskkonda. On sellel mingi juriidiline põhjus või ei taheta lihtsalt kodulehe klikke käest anda või midagi muud?

If it have been Delfi and Postimees doing this, the matter would have strictly been on a much higher level.

We both perfectly know this thing wouldn't got so big if it hadn't gone over borders and hit over 200,000 clicks.

Üks põhjus paljudest on kindlasti see, et kodukas endale sellega trafficut tõmbaks ja otsimootorite seas endale respekti ja feimi koguks. Kui inimesed vaimukat videot jagada tahavad, siis peavad nad sellele kusagilt linkima, selle asemel, et iga suvaline Timo youtube video enda blogisse või vutifoorumisse embeddida saaks. (Jagamised sotsiaalmeedias on teine teema, ilmselgelt).

Teine asi on muidugi see, kui keegi tõepoolest kodulehe poolt kasutet videoplayeri video ära ripib ja sellest oma muganduse teeb, mis ka vist selle alateema läbiv teema hetkel on.
