My dear family, dear friends, and dear fans,
Our patriarch, Barao Wilson, has fought very hard and is a true warrior, a champion. We all came from him and my dear mother Juze, another warrior who fought very much in life and in her last days. On October 24, 2006 she left us to rest in the eternal world, meeting God and Jesus and all of our other family members.
On Saturday I whispered into my father's ear what a beautiful family he created and that we were all cheering and praying for him to get better and that God had always loved our family and him. It was in this moment, that for the first times since he was admitted to the hospital, he opened his eyes, shook his leg, and moved his lips; a sign of love for our big and beautiful family. Rossana, Tania, and I, where extremely moved by this message of love and gratitude, it was beautiful!
Yesterday he did not respond anymore, he was in God's hands. We prayed with him and after having written this letter, went back to the hospital. Please pray for our patriarch, Barao! He loves you very much my my children, my dear wife, my grandkids, sons in law and daughter in law, my brother, my niece and nephew and all this beautiful family that we are. We will always be so proud of the man he always was, an exemplary husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, that loved all of you so much!
Today at 1:00 in the morning, God called for my dear father.
Brazil and the motor racing world has lost this amazing man who loved our sport so much. Thanks to him I was introduced to auto racing which I will love for the rest of my life. I owe everything to my mother and father for introducing me to this sport.
I love my father very much; our PATRIARCH!
